Fatal error in daybook
Failed daybook on process daily daybooks
Failed batch found
A failed daybook will occur if a terminal crashes when printing daybooks or
posting cash.
A daybook at X status will stop process daily daybooks running in end of
day and give the error in the end of day log and daybook register.
If this has been the case for a few days and the customer is not checking his
end of day log you may get calls saying they cannot view/print daybooks or
there are items in the bank account not showing on the bank reconciliation
option.

Select Nominal Ledger and the company required from the Master menu
Select Daybook Miscellaneous Options from the Nominal ledger menu
Select Search for failed batches
Either get a printout of the search or note down the Batch and Daybook
numbers
If the daybook has today's date and a fairly recent time it may just be in use and will
not need resetting, but still complete the steps below.

Select Nominal Ledger and the company required from the Master menu
Select View posting buffer from the Nominal ledger menu
Enter the batch number and check that ll items in the batch are at P status or
no transactions exist for that batch.
