Franchise Data Information Maintenance by the Dealership
If the dealership does not have any information supplied from a third party source it will need to keep all the
information up to date manually.
If third party sources are supplying the Model, Variant, Factory options, Colours and Trims the rest of the
information in the data pyramid (shown above) will still need to be maintained on a regular basis by the
dealership.
Once the data is changed or loaded into the Franchise Data module it is available to be used immediately. There
is no concept of two (or more) databases of information where one is in current use and the other is used for
checking of the information before being copied to the current database.
These manual changes made to the Franchise Data module can be done whilst the database is in use.
Accessing the Franchise Data Module
The Franchise Data module can be accessed from the Main Menu
