The Vehicle Stock Book for Accountants - Flipbook - Page 75
STEP 12
Select the address to be used.
The accounts v0010 and v0020 are general accounts used for most vehicle sales invoices.
The account v0010 is used for retail sale deals and v0020 for trade sale deals. If one of these
accounts is used then the address to be used will be the one from CRM.
If a customer buys a lot of vehicles then a 8specific9 sales ledger account can be set up for that
customer in the sales ledger. Where this is done the correct address details can be picked up
from the Sales ledger.
A specific sales ledger account is usually set up for the main finance companies used to fund
deals.
STEP 13
If the CRM customer record (attached to the vehicle in STEP 3 above) has a company record
attached to it the system will ask which address should be used.
Not all CRM customer records will have company records attached to them, in which case the
above confirmation will not be displayed and the system will default to using the customer
address held in CRM.
Click on either Company or Customer to continue.
STEP 14
If the Customer A/c. is the same as the Invoice A/c then use the
icon to copy the details
from the Customer A/c. to the Invoice A/c. Click on the arrow pointing to the right to copy the
details from the left to the right.
If a finance company has been used for the Invoice A/c then the customer must be selected for
the Customer A/c. Repeat STEPS 11,12 & 13 above to complete the Customer A/c. details.
