Franchise Data
Module
Introduction
This module is one of the most important of the Autoline modules. Many of the other modules call upon it
frequently and the information is delivered behind the scenes, as a result it has become known as a silent part of
the software. However it must be stressed that without this module the system could not operate efficiently in
certain areas. The Franchise Data module does not need to be accessed on a daily basis but must be
maintained on a regular basis by the dealership.
The concept of Franchise data can only be related to the numerous price list booklets and customer brochures,
which are part of the normal dealership operation. Convert all the booklets and brochures that are available and
then convert that into data held within a software module, that is what Franchise data is!
Think of this module as a pyramid, in which all things are structured and each piece of the pyramid fits into its own
home. Then think of the pyramid as being all the available known facts about your franchise, an example of
which is shown below:
