Master Posting Tables
Introduction
The Master Posting Tables determine the rules for the posting of the majority of vehicle financial transactions to
the Nominal Ledger. There are two tables, one for new and one for used vehicles. The tables use mnemonic
codes to specify where the debit and credit entries must be posted. These codes are converted into actual
nominal account codes using the Detailed Posting Tables.
Every monetary value field on a vehicle record has a field name allocated to it in the master posting table. For
