STEP
PROCESS
STEP 1
From the main WIP screen, load up the required WIP. This can be done by keying the
WIP number directly into the WIP number box or by using the search tool.
STEP 2
When the loan car is returned, we need to record the fact so the required charges can
be automatically calculated. If these charges are to be made on the same invoice as
the work carried out, the loan must be ended before the customer invoice is
produced. The WIP is loaded into POS and the 8Loan9 button clicked to open up the
Loan Car Booking Form.
The return date is recorded and the system will automatically record the current time.
The return mileage will also need to be entered, as well as the new fuel level. Any
new damage to the vehicle will also need to be recorded.
Once the relevant details have been recorded, the calculated charges can be
previewed as shown above.
STEP 3
Before the loan can be finished, a vehicle return form must be printed and signed by
the driver.
Once signed, the 8Return9 button on the toolbar will be available. Click on this to
complete the loan.
