STEP 1
From the main WIP screen, load up the required WIP. This can be done by keying the
WIP number directly into the WIP number box, or using the WIP search tools.
STEP 2
Click on the 8Loan9 button on the WIP toolbar…
… which now opens up the Loan Car Booking screen.
Some of the areas that were previously unavailable to edit have now become
available. The 8Mileage out9 box will be completed to record the current mileage on
the loan car, and the 8Time started9 will automatically record the current time.
8Out Branch9 is the dealership loaning the car out – used if you have multiple
branches sharing the same system
8No CDW?9 Collision Damage Waiver. Used to suppress a charge to the customer if
they decline additional insurance for collision damage. This will however
automatically increase the insurance excess figure.
The fuel level will also need to be recorded prior to the commencement of the loan.
This is done by clicking against the relevant marker on the fuel gauge.
