STEP
PROCESS
STEP 1
As notes lines are 8labour9 lines, they are entered into the WIP as other labour lines i.e.
key in (or search for) the required RTS code in the 8New Product9 box
A number of predefined notes codes will exist and can be found if a short name search
using 8REPORT9 as the search text.
Additional RTS codes can be created if required. In the above example, the RTS code
8TREP9 is being selected to add a tyre report line to the WIP. The line can be selected
by a single click, then click 8OK9 or a double click on the required line.
STEP 2
Having selected the required RTS code, the 8Extra Text9 box opens. The 8TREP9 line
has the default text for tyre tread depths, and only the actual depths need to be added.
Note the 8Fixed 8width9 tick box. This will display tick marks in the description box which
displays the cutoff point for text that will appear on jobcards / invoices. The tickbox
labelled 8Print after parts and labour9 should be ticked if the note is to appear after all
other lines on the invoice. If left unticked, the note would appear above the parts and
may not therefore be as prominent.
Click 8OK9 when finished and the text will be loaded to the WIP
