Method 2
Labour lines can also be set to complete on the WIP by right clicking on the Progress
status for the line and selecting Completed work from the drop down menu.
Once selected, the Labour details screen will be opened with the status already set to
Complete, and the remaining information updated as above.
Method 3
The final method of completing a line is to double left click on the Progress status for
the required line. This will open the Labour details screen with the status already set
to complete and the cursor in the Technician field. This can help to speed up the
completion of the labour lines as the cursor is already in the correct place and only the
technician number and time taken needs to be entered.
All the labour lines on the job should be completed as above to fully cost the job. If a
line is set to completed status but the Time Taken field has not been entered, the
Progress and Invoice boxes on the main WIP screen will be highlighted in RED. Lines
highlighted in this nature will not be included on invoices produced from this job and
should be corrected.
If a technician number is missing, a warning is displayed and this information must be
supplied before the line can be completed.
