STEP
PROCESS
STEP 1
From the main WIP screen, load up the required WIP. This can be done by keying the
WIP number directly into the WIP number box …
… or by using the search tool.
STEP 2
There are three ways to complete a labour line, each of which is detailed below.
Method 1
Double click on the labour line number to open the labour details screen. Once open,
the progress status must be set to Completed, a Technician number recorded, and the
correct Time Taken entered.
Check that the allowed time(s) are also appropriate and amend if necessary. The
description may also need to be amended as this text will appear on the final invoice.
The description box can control what text will appear on jobcards and invoices.
Clicking on the 8Fixed width9 tick box will show two tick marks on the description box.
Tick marks
Any text appearing to the left of these marks would be printed on a jobcard and the
subsequent invoice. Text to the right of the marks would only appear on a jobcard.
Should the labour rate or discount need amending, this should also be done at this
time, but these fields are priority controlled and therefore only accessible to authorised
users. See 05.004.03.L1 for details. Finally, click 8OK9 to close the line.
