Completing
Labour Lines
7. Introduction
Once the task associated with a labour line has been completed by the technician, the line on the WIP
needs to be updated in order for it to be invoiced. This involves amending the progress status, entering
the technician who performed the task, and recording how long it actually took. Until these details are
provided the line will not be able to be invoiced.
This section deals specifically with genuine labour lines i.e. lines that relate to tasks that have been
worked on by technicians. Other 8pseudo9 labour lines can be used to make additional charges for oil or
sundry items. The process relating to these types of lines are dealt with in process No. 05.004.02.L1
