Receiving the
Vehicle (Check In)
6. Introduction
The process of receiving the vehicle (8Check In9) updates the system to show that it has now arrived
and is on the premises. This gives the benefit of allowing the field called 8Loc9n9 to be used when
searching for WIPs. If used in this way, the search will result in all service related vehicles that are on
site. In addition, if the Workshop Loading module is being utilised, technicians will not be able to clock
to tasks relating to the vehicle until this check in procedure has been carried out.
