4. Introduction
Every WIP that is created must have an account number inserted before it can be invoiced. This
includes cash sales, internal work, warranty work and jobs being charged to bona fide credit accounts.
For cash jobs, there may be a retail cash account and perhaps some additional ones that can be used
to automatically apply a set discount or charge a different labour rate. This is often used where a
reduced rate is charged for work on older vehicles. In addition, account numbers can be set up so that
an order number must be quoted before an invoice can be produced.
