19. Introduction
The creation of vehicle records in the database is a fundamental process which has a huge impact on
the effectiveness of the database. The vehicle record holds the service history of the vehicle along with
other core details e.g. last/next service dates, current mileage, last/next MOT date etc. Many of these
fields are used when sending service or MOT reminder letters.
