There are three tabs, Header, Allocations and Post on account.
Header tab details the posting date, bank account and the main supplier payment information. It is also possible
to request the display of paid invoices, in order to carry out amendments/corrections.
Allocations tab displays the outstanding invoices, credit notes and unallocated payments. If the display paid
invoices check box was ticked, then paid invoices, not yet cleared to archive will also be displayed.
Items may be matched in full, part allocated, re-instated, discounted, written off etc. until the unallocated figure is
back to zero and the account details are correct. At this point the Post button will action the changes made.
The Carry Forward button will allow unallocated balances to be carried forward to another Purchase Ledger
account.
The Transfer button allows cash to be contra9d to the Sales Ledger or into another Purchase Ledger company
and/or account.
Post on Account – this tab allows unallocated cash to be posted on the supplier account. The cash can be
allocated at a later date, using the allocations tab.
