PROCESS
STEP 1
Unreceive the line as described in Process 04.021.02.L1
STEP 2
If the undelivered line is 8to follow9 see Step 3, if the undelivered line is to be
8reordered9 see Step 4.
STEP 3
If the line is 8to follow9 the line could be left as it is and then received in against the new
GRN number when the parts arrive. It is however normal to flag the line as backordered to allow for exception reporting against orders.
To flag a line as back-ordered, set the Action type to Backorder and double-click on
the required lines; alternatively you can right-click in the St field for the required line
and select the backorder option.
STEP 4
If line is 8to be reordered9 the it needs to be removed from the order, this can be done
by selecting the Zero option and then double-clicking on the required line; alternatively
you can right-click in the St field for the required line and selecting the Zero option.
The Zero9d line(s) will not be removed from the screen until it has been refreshed, as
the Zero option has been taken the part will appear on the next system generated
order. It is for this reason that taking the Delete option is not recommended.
