Update prices via
PC
This indicator controls which fields are expected to be updated when the
manufacturer supplies a part and it is booked into stock, as opposed to
waiting for a price update through KCC Media Transfer.
If neither the selling price nor the latest cost are to be updated on receipt
of new stock, then this parameter is set to 8N9 for none.
If the receiving of goods should update the selling price only then this
parameter should be set to 8S9.
If the receiving goods should update the latest cost only then this
parameter should be set to 8L9.
If the receiving of goods should update the selling price and the latest
cost price then this parameter should be set to 8B9.
Retain non-stock
lines
This parameter controls the number of days that a part number with a
non-stock indicator will be held on file after the stock on-hand,
outstanding purchase orders and back-orders have returned to zero.
Normally set to the number of days required to test for a specific number
of movements in order to consider changing the part to a stock line (say
3 movements in 6 months or 180 days).
NL posting code
Whilst the franchise code itself can be up to 3 characters long, the code
used as part of the nominal ledger posting permutations is only a single
character code, and it is this that is entered here.
Where single character franchise codes are being used, this will
normally be the same as the franchise code itself, but may vary in
certain circumstances.
Product group
The value entered here will be defaulted into every part number created
with this franchise code, whether through Stock Management or Pointof-Sale.
Analysis code
The value entered here will be defaulted into every part number created
with this franchise code, whether through Stock Management or Pointof-Sale.
