STEP 11
Click on the Accept All button.
STEP 12
If the values match and the system is able to verify them you will see the Posted and
Updated successfully message. See Step 16.
If the GRN and Invoice values differ and this would need to be corrected to allow the
verification to be completed. However should you try to verify the system will either
post the variance between the two values to a write-off account (if the variance is
within permitted limits – see Step 15) or refuse to allow the verification (see Step 13)
If the system refuses to allow the variance a warning message will be displayed.
STEP 13
To correct the error you will need to investigate the cause of the problem. In this
example the parts have been received in incorrectly. You would need to enter
Purchase Control, unreceive the parts and receive them back in with the correct value.
To allow you to do this you must ensure that the GRN number you wish to correct is
not displayed in the grid on the Delivery Notes tab, if it is you should delete it before
you will be able to unreceive the parts, see process 04.024.02.L2.
STEP 14
Correct the Purchase Order lines details as per Process 04.024.02.L2,
Correction of GRN information. Once done see Step 9.
