STEP 4
On the action screen you will see a transfer window, the source location will
already be entered (this comes from the location you set on the parts line).
Enter the location you wish to transfer the parts to.
STEP 5
Click on the Transfer button to complete the system transfer of parts from one
location to another. The system will generate a WIP number for the action and
print a transfer document. The lines will appear at XX status on the WIP.
The transfer process will ensure that the parts are moved on the system
between the two locations; however the physical movement will still need to be
carried out. Use of a stock adjustment account will ensure that the movement
occurs at average cost, ensuring that the stock valuation does not change.
