7. Contract Pricing Creation
The contract pricing facility is provided to allow specific prices for specific customers to be applied to
specific products. These can be Part Numbers, Labour codes or Menus.
The system will allow you to enter two date ranges with different contract prices for each of those
ranges.
The key to the contract record is a combination of product and customer identification. The product
can be either a specific part number to fix a contract price, or a discount code to fix an enhanced
discount although whichever facility is used, the customer is identified by their corresponding Sales
Ledger account number. If the contract record is for enhanced discount, the code is prefixed by an # to
identify that method.
To create a Contract Pricing agreement for Parts supplied directly (one of the most common
applications) you should follow these steps.
