Inter-company
Daemon
If set to 'N'o then the system will start the normal parts daemon. If the
flag is set to 'Y'es then the system will start the Inter-company Transfer
daemon. This daemon will allow the automatic transfer of parts between
companies using the Point-of-Sale system. Also "P" for full posting please refer to KCC
Record ICT
demand
This parameter controls whether Inter-Company Transfers update
demand history in the supplying branch.
Auto PL.account
ICT
This parameter may be set to offer a 'M'enu of possible inter-company
suppliers for selection instead, rather than a direct input prompt. It is
recommended to set it to 'N' if inter-company transfers are not required,
and perhaps activity code 'I' is being used for an intermediate class of
backorders.
The ability to see a window of quantities of a part in other stock
companies is offered whether the part exists on the current stock
company or not, and the free stock (quantity-backorder) cannot satisfy
the actual quantity required. The window therefore appears following the
quantity input, rather than the part number.
New WIP on ICT
This parameter determines whether a new WIP is allocated for every
inter-company transfer request, or whether all requests between two
specific departments are accumulated onto one WIP for the day.
ICT Reserve
status
The status to which inter company transfer parts will be set when
automatically reserved.
ICT B/O status
The status to which inter company transfer parts will be set when placed
on backorder within the supporting WIP.
