2. Point-of-Sale Parameters
These are held in System Maintenance, POS parameters and are subdivided in to 4 areas. Only
"Flags" are useful to a user after the system has been configured. Great care should be taken
with amending any of these fields unless you are fully aware of the effect. If you are in any
doubt you should first contact ADP support.
Flags
The Point-of-Sale system is controlled by the individual priority of the user matched against the
priorities set in this table. This allows the Point-of-Sale system to work in different ways for
different customers. Priorities may be set from 1-9, where 1 allows all users access and 9
prevents any user access. Please seek advice before changing anything you are unsure about.
A few of the more common/useful flags from a Parts point of view, which are held in two tabs,
are listed here. Specimen values are shown for every parameter.
