Parts Status Report
This report is very similar to K07 except the report is sorted by status. The report may either be
run for all status codes or individually selectable status codes, although lines that have been
invoiced are not shown. Further to this, the report maybe restricted to show those lines which
have not been edited, that is to say, that they have not changed their status or otherwise been
modified prior to a specified cut-off date.
The report forms two major functions. First is as an end of day or week action report to pick up
all lines which have become static and investigate why they cannot progress, and secondly as a
report to show detail behind the end of day audit (status ageing) program which shows the
number of lines at each status, aged by months. All of these lines should be investigated
regularly to ensure that the files are kept tidy and any customer's orders are followed up.
The report is produced in order status/part number/WIP number order, with a new page for each
change of order status. The part number is in input part number format.
On running this report, two prompts will be offered. The first allows the selection of up to eight
status codes, or blank for all. The second allows a cut-off date to be specified which will restrict
the report to all lines where the date last edited was earlier or equal to this cut-off date. If the
cut-off date is left blank then all lines will be reported on.
This report is designed to run as part of the end of day, in which case it will report on status R,
V, C, S, I, W, P and X. V and C lines will be reported on if they are over seven days old. All the
other lines must be over thirty days old.
