Introduction
This option provides the facility to post miscellaneous journals onto the Nominal Ledger. Using the system with a
normal priority journals must balance before posting is allowed. The narrative facility allows for details to be
recorded with the journal posting for assistance when viewing the result in the nominal ledger enquiries.
Cut/copy/paste facilities are available to assist with providing the narrative and suffix information. The Text facility
allows for a very detailed explanation of the journal, the details of which can be viewed using the document
retrieval functionality.
Note – Journal entries do not update the VAT statistics.
