Select the Generic categories tab.
Vehicle searches can be done using the generic option categories in the VSB and Showroom
modules. For example, using these categories all the stock with air conditioning or alloy wheels
can be identified if the generic category for these exist and has been correctly added to the
vehicle records.
For further information on generic categories refer to processes 03.002.01 - Creating Generic
Categories and 03.002.02 - Adding Generic Categories for information.
STEP 12
Select the Notes tab.
This tab can be used to enter any notes that are specific to this variant.
STEP 13
Select the A/sales base data tab. Often this tab is left blank.
Information entered on this tab can be used for budgeting information and marketing analysis
through the Advanced Analysis module.
STEP 14
The Manufacturing tab holds specialist information regarding vehicle homologation but it is not
normally used in this country.
STEP 15
The Picture tab can be used to attach a picture of the model that can be used in the Showroom
module.
