The tables above show the standard settings on the Autoline system but these can vary to those on other
systems. It is important to get a copy of these table settings for the dealership before creating new options in the
Franchise Data module.
When a new option is created in the Franchise Data module the new option will need to use one of the codes
shown above. The recoverable options will use a code from A to O and the non-recoverable options will use a
code from A to Z or 1 to 4.
The blank lines shown above can be used by typing in a Description for the option type and a Source code and
then clicking on the Save button.
Once an option has been set up with one of these Codes, the Code of the option cannot be changed in the VSB
module although the Source code can be changed in the VSB module.
The Source code has to be set for each line in use above and the setting here will be used as the default setting
in the Vehicle Stock Book module. This default setting can be changed in the VSB module but the Analysis code
cannot.
The Source code indicates the module which is going to process the actual cost of the option. The most common
settings are W for Workshop and P for Purchase ledger.
The tables are stored in the Miscellaneous options in the Vehicle Stock Book module. Access to the Analysis
Codes is usually restricted to high priority users. Refer to the Dealer Accountant for any changes that might be
required.
