Force follow-up
code
Description
• Default the follow-up code will pull the suggested follow-up
code through into the contact but the facility is there to
change it to something else.
• Follow-up code must be used will disable the follow-up
code field and will not allow the user to change the followup code to something else.
• Follow-up code is for chain linking only will not be forced by
default; however, when used the follow-up code will show
actual/predicted contact chains allowing the user to view
the chain of events.
STEP 7
Contact method
Allows the user to determine the method of contact with the
customer. This flag provides the Action buttons which can be
used when creating a contact.
RTF letter code
If RTF is chosen a letter code maybe entered to prompt the
specific letter without having to choose one from a provided
list.
Once complete, click on Create.
The contact may be viewed amongst
all created contacts by clicking on the ellipsis button.
This code may now be used when creating a line of contact history, refer to process
02.003.01 L1 Creating a New Contact.
