Searching for CRM
Records
3. Introduction
Before a CRM record is created the database must be interrogated to check if a record exists already to avoid the
creation of duplicate CRM records.
The CRM database consists of 3 types of records:

Customer
Company
Vehicle
There are several ways to search for CRM records. It is possible to search for all three records directly from My
desktop.
By typing a word into the Find record search Autoline uses a Word search facility which will check the following
fields in all 3 records:
